All outfits are hand made by me Tiina Hoddy, from quality fabrics and yarn.  We have been making preemie clothing since 1980 and now design outfits under the name Piccolissimo Ltd.

Why do we design preemie clothing?

I started to knit and sew when I was 6 years old and when I was pregnant with my children, they wanted to arrive early. But they were kept in with medication and bed rest until the due date. At that point I had a glimpse of how small my babies would have been - as well as what clothing was available - nothing in 1980. Preemie babies have always been in my heart ever since and that is why I prefer designing tiny sets! Since then I have sold preemie clothing in shops and directly to hospitals.

Now you can see our available selection in our online shop. Our customers return to us as they find our clothing fit their babies perfectly. We pride in the quality of the sets as well as the cute designs and colours used. Due to the popularity, most sets only stay in the shop for a few minutes... But please come back as I am designing more. We are also manufacturing some of our sets in Turkey.  These sets we will be able to offer at whole sale prices for the shops who have shown interest! 

We also offer knitting and sewing patterns for you to make your own sets! Or if you are scared of cutting and can't find bits'n'bobs- why not try our PRE-CUT SETS! Online patterns are available as PDF format. The Patterns offer detailed description how to sew the set and the pre-cut sets include all bit'n'bobs from fabric, lace, to ribbon etc so you only need a sewing machine and thread. Easy or what! We will be adding more patterns in various sizes as well as pre-cut set.
